Kermit Ruffins is an American jazz trumpeter, singer, composer, and actor from New Orleans who often accompanies his songs with his own vocals.

Best of the Beat Award Winner, Ruffins has appeared on the HBO Series Treme and played with Jon Batiste and Stay Human on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. He also has become an institution of the New Orleans vibe.
